In this series, Tata Motors has launched a new free warranty plan for customers willing to buy Nexon EV.
Tata Motors is offering free extended warranty on bookings for the Nexon EV in the month of December. The electric SUV comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 1.25 lakh kms. Hence the extended warranty adds two more years to the regular warranty period. Tata Motors will offer free extended warranty if you book the EV in December 2022.
Usually, customers are charged a fixed amount for extending the standard warranty period. This is like a warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh kilometers on the battery pack and electric motor.
The Tata Nexon electric SUV is currently sold in two different line-ups. This includes the Prime and Max EVs. The Nexon EV Prime uses a 30.2 kWh battery pack which comes mated to an electric motor producing 129 bhp and 245 Nm of peak torque.
On the other hand, the Nexon EV Max gets a bigger 40.5 kWh battery pack that makes 143 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. The former comes with a claimed range of 312 kms while the latter goes up to 437 kms on a single charge. Its price starts from Rs. 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to Rs. 20.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
Nexon EV comes in 3 color options. This includes Signature Teal Blue, Glacier White and Black. However, some of these colors are available only in special versions. Let us tell you that Nexon EV competes with Tata Tigor EV, Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV, Tata Tiago EV, Tata Nexon EV Prime, Hyundai Kona Electric, Honda City Hybrid EHEV.
