The Blackview Hero 10 foldable phone is rumored to be the most affordable foldable phone globally. It was showcased at MWC 2024, where some of its key specifications were revealed. The foldable phone is expected to launch in May this year. The company has already confirmed that it will sport a 6.9-inch AMOLED main display with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and 12GB of RAM. Now, a Hero 10 has been listed on a retail website in China, revealing all its specifications.
The Blackview Hero 10 foldable phone has been listed on the Chinese e-commerce platform Aliexpress with its complete specifications. The phone was slated for an official launch in May. According to the listing, the Hero 10 runs on DokeOS 4.0 based on Android 13, with a promised update to Android 14 later this year. The Hero 10 features a 6.9-inch main display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,560 pixels, supporting a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
Regarding the hinge, the company claims it can withstand 250,000 folds without issues. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The chipset suggests that the foldable phone will not support 5G connectivity.
The phone boasts a 108-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter on the back. Additionally, there’s a small display within the camera island for showing notifications, messages, and incoming calls. The front camera is a 32-megapixel shooter housed in a hole-punch cutout at the top center of the display. The Blackview Hero 10 packs a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It also features stereo speakers, NFC, and dual-SIM slots. While the official pricing information is yet to be revealed, Blackview had stated at MWC that it plans to launch the Hero 10 for 399 euros. If this holds true, it will be the most affordable foldable phone in the world. The phone is expected to come in Sakura Purple and Eclipse Black color options, both with a vegan leather finish.
