In this market, Toyota also competes with Ertiga with ‘Rumion’. Recently the Japanese company has launched its new version, named Rumion G AT. Earlier this model used to come only with manual gearbox, but now it will also be available with automatic gearbox. Apart from this, Toyota has started booking Rumian CNG again.
In the new Toyota Rumion you will get the convenience of 6 speed automatic gearbox. This will make the car easier to drive as there will not be much trouble in changing gears. The G AT variant also gets Toyota’s i-Connect features which include remote lock/unlock, climate control, hazard lights and other connected features.
Features of Toyota Rumion G AT
The new Rumion G AT will have the same features as the manual variant. Compared to the base S model, the G model comes with features like two-tone alloy wheels, dual-tone seat fabric, keyless entry and go, automatic climate control, 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, front fog lights.
Apart from this, safety features like dual front gearbox, ABS with EBD, hill hold and ESP have been provided in Toyota’s new car. However, the G variant does not have features like leather-wrapped steering, cruise control, side airbags and rear camera.

Under the partnership between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki, the Rumion also gets the same 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine as the Ertiga. Rumion comes with 5 speed manual or 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Apart from this, Rumian CNG can also be purchased. Its booking has started again. The mileage of Rumian CNG is 26.11 km/kg.

Toyota has launched Rumion G AT for Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). It is Rs 1.40 lakh more expensive than the manual model. You can book it for Rs 11,000. The ex-showroom price of Toyota Rumion ranges from Rs 10.44 lakh to Rs 13.73 lakh. It competes with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, XL6 and Kia Carens.
