A 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash can be found in the rear of the Vivo Y36s, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera may be located on its front.

Vivo is set to launch the Vivo Y36s smartphone in the global market soon. This new phone appears to be a rebranded version of the Vivo G2, which debuted in China earlier this year. The Vivo Y36s is expected to feature a 6.56-inch LCD display with a teardrop notch. Here, we provide detailed information about the features and specifications of the Vivo Y36s.

This information comes from the Google Play Console listing, where the Y36s was spotted with the same model number (PD2318) as the G2. Both phones share similar specifications, including the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 720×1612 display resolution, and Android 13. Interestingly, the Vivo G2 itself is a rebranded version of the Vivo Y36i, which was launched in China in December 2023.

Specifications of Vivo Y36s:

The Vivo Y36s is expected to share many specifications with the Vivo G2. It is anticipated to feature a 6.56-inch LCD display with a teardrop notch, offering an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. It could come with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.

In terms of camera setup, the smartphone is rumored to sport a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash on the rear. Additionally, there may be a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support via USB-C. Connectivity options may include dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is also likely to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
