The Kushak is available with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre TSI engine that churns out 113 Bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque, while the other is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 148 Bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The Active Peace variant comes with a 1.0-litre engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Skoda Kushak was launched in India in June 2021. The SUV was made available in India at a starting price of Rs 10.50 lakhs, ex-showroom. The price of its top variant goes up to Rs 17.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The company had launched the Monte Carlo Edition of the Kushak in May this year at an ex-showroom price of Rs 15.99 lakh.

The Skoda Kushaq is made available in a total of 7 variants in three trims – Active Piece, Ambiente, Ambition and Style. This SUV has been made available in two petrol engine options which include 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre petrol engines.

Talking about the design of Skoda Kushak, it has been given a muscular design. It has been given Skoda’s signature grille. All the lights in Kushak are also given in LED. This SUV gives a bold presence on the road due to its design.

Features such as two-spoke steering wheel, connected tech, ambient lighting, sunroof, in-car Wi-Fi and ventilated front seats have been provided in the Skoda Kushak. Apart from this, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been given with connectivity of Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Talking about safety, it gets features like six airbags, auto headlamps and wipers, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and hill start assist.

Skoda Auto India sold 4,447 units of cars in July 2022, an increase of 44 per cent over the same period last year. In July last year, the company sold 3,080 units of its cars.

The company’s steady sales growth is due to the latest Skoda Slavia sedan and the popular Skoda Kushak SUV which are receiving good customer response. Skoda’s first product under the India 2.0 project was launched in July 2021 and recently celebrated its first anniversary.
