Kia Carens CNG Coming to Compete with Maruti Ertiga CNG, See Features and Mileage Details

New Delhi.
Kia Carens CNG India Launch:
CNG cars are good in India and Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Hyundai Motors have introduced good hatchback and sedan cars in the CNG car segment. Now even SUV cars are going to come with CNG. Along with all this, a good news is coming that Kia Motors has also started testing the CNG variant of its recently launched 7 seater MPV cars. Yes, Kia Carens CNG is also going to be launched soon to compete with the best selling car Ertiga CNG in the MPV segment, which will definitely focus on higher mileage.

Recently, a leaked image of the Kia Carens CNG with a factory fitted CNG kit has been spotted. The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine can be seen in this MPV, which will be capable of generating up to 140 PS of power and 242 Nm of torque. If media reports are to be believed, the upcoming Kia Carens CNG will be offered with a 6-speed manual. At present, this 7 seater car is also available in 7 speed DCT transmission option. The look and features of Kia Cars are also amazing and due to their low pricing, people are very much liked by it.

Let us tell you that in India, Kia Motors has introduced its Dhansu MPV Kia Carens in 6 and 7 seater options, whose prices range from Rs 9.59 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh. At the same time, the car’s biggest rival, Maruti Ertiga, is priced between Rs 8.35 lakh to Rs 12.79 lakh. There are also two CNG variants of the Ertiga, priced at Rs 10.44 and Rs 11.54 lakh (ex-showroom). Karens has ruined the Ertiga market since its launch. However, Maruti Suzuki last week launched an updated model of the Ertiga, which is equipped with better looks and features. Carrens CNG is also believed to be offered with a price tag of over Rs 12 lakh to influence the Ertiga CNG sales.
