The launch date of iQoo Neo 8 series has been announced. The company has said that it will launch its new smartphone in China on May 23. iQoo has revealed that the lineup will include two models. The company posted a small post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. Video has also uploaded a teaser that confirms the key specifications of the Neo 8 series. The video reveals the design of the iQoo Neo 8. The back panel of the phone appears red colored vegan leather.
The back camera module of iQoo Neo 8 may come in a rectangular shape. It has carbon fiber like pattern. The phone has triple rear camera setup. The main sensor comes with the feature of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). However, the company has not told how many megapixels the camera given in the phone will be and what features they will have.
Talking about the processor given in iQoo Neo 8, ‘the smartphone will have MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ processor, along with Vivo V1+ image signal processor will also be given. The company has also told that the iQoo Neo 8 5G smartphone will be launched in 12GB + 256GB RAM variant. While iQoo Neo 8 Pro can be launched with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Both phones will have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. It will support 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a hole-punch cutout at the top center of the display, where the front camera will fit.
There are reports of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866V camera sensor in the iQoo Neo 8 series. This could be the main camera sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie camera can be given in the front. iQoo Neo 8 5G can be launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Both phones can be launched in China with Origin OS 3 based on Android 13.
