Applying for the BH Number Plate

  • To apply for the BH number plate, log in to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways’ (MoRTH) Vahan portal.
  • Fill out Form 20 on the vehicle portal. If you are a private sector employee with offices in more than four states or union territories, you will need to fill out Form 60.
  • Submit a copy of your employment certificate and employee ID along with the application.
  • Select the BH option in the Time Series Type while filling out the application form.
  • Submit a copy of your work certificate (Form 60) or official ID.
  • The Regional Transport Office (RTO) will verify your eligibility.
  • Once approved, pay the required fees online.
  • Upon completion of the process, the vehicle portal will generate a BH series registration number, valid in all states of India.
