Nothing has launched two new wireless earbuds in India – Nothing Ear and Ear (a). Both of these earbuds promise seamless wireless audio experiences. Nothing Ear is essentially an upgraded version of the previous model, Nothing Ear (2), boasting a larger 11mm driver for enhanced bass performance.
Nothing Ear and Ear (a) are priced at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 7,999 respectively in India. They will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Croma, and Vijay Sales starting from April 22. As part of a special launch offer on Flipkart, they are priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 5,999 respectively. Nothing Ear comes in black and white colors, while Nothing Ear (a) is also available in a vibrant yellow color option.
Nothing Ear is equipped with a special 11mm driver and a ceramic diaphragm for premium sound quality. The design has been refined to incorporate two new air flow spaces, enhancing clarity in sound reproduction. These earbuds support LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codec for high-quality Bluetooth streaming, and are Hi-Res Audio certified. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology reduces surrounding noise by up to 45dB, while a unique in-ear detection feature pauses music when the earbuds are removed and resumes playback when reinserted.
The battery life of Nothing Ear has been improved, offering up to 40.5 hours of usage with the charging case and up to 8.5 hours on a single charge. Fast charging capabilities provide ten hours of playback with just ten minutes of charging. Clear Voice Technology ensures clear call quality, with reduced air blockage by 60% compared to the previous model. Additionally, Nothing Ear can connect to two devices simultaneously and features touch controls for volume adjustment.
Nothing Ear (a) boasts a similar design to Nothing Ear, with slight differences in size and shape for improved comfort. It also features ANC technology, providing noise cancellation of up to 45dB. The driver design delivers 2.5 times more powerful sound than the previous model, ensuring exceptional audio performance. LDAC codec support and Hi-Res Audio certification further enhance the sound quality of these earbuds.
