New MG Hector Facelift Leak Photos: The primary volume generator for MG Motor in the Indian market is the Hector SUV, which is now about to launch a new update version. This will be the second update for Hector. Earlier it was also updated in 2021. The SUV was first launched in India in 2019. It has since become its highest selling SUV in India for the company. It is now expected to get ADAS in its update version, which will make it compete with cars like Mahindra XUV700, Tata Harrier and Hyundai Alcazar.
However, these updates will cause Hector prices to rise. In such a situation, the company will continue to sell the MG facelift version as well as the 2021 model. However, if the demand for the old model is low then the decision to discontinue it can be taken later. At the moment, a picture of its front has been leaked, suggesting that one of the major updates for the 2023 Hector facelift will be the Diamond Mesh Grill, Which will replace the current trapezoidal studded grill. Top-mounted LED DRLs will remain the same as before while the headlamp and front bumper have been slightly replaced.
There is no major change in its side and rear profiles. The interior has been upgraded with a fresh dual-layer dashboard. It will get a large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with i-Smart connectivity. Keeping in mind the better safety, the ADAS feature is expected to be found in the 2023 Hector facelift. It may have features such as blind spot detection, lane funk assist, forward collision warning, rear drive assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, intelligent headlamp control and speed assist system.
