Teaser of Tata’s first automatic car with iCNG out, book for Rs 21 thousand

Tata Motors is soon going to launch its first iCNG variant car with full automatic transmission in India. Earlier, Tata Motors had launched its car with only manual transmission in iCNG variant. Tata Motors has also opened the booking of these cars with its upcoming iCNG AMT transmission, which you can book by paying Rs 21 thousand.

Let us tell you that Tata Motors has recently released the teaser of the first iCNG automatic car Tiago iCNG AMT and Tigor iCNG AMT. Tata will offer two variants of both these cars, in which there will be XZA CNG and XZA+CNG variants.

Twin cylinder technology will be used in Tiago iCNG and Tigor iCNG

Keeping in mind the needs of the users, Tata Motors has given twin cylinders in its CNG car instead of keeping one big CNG cylinder, in such a situation twin cylinders will also be given in Tiago iCNG AMT and Tigor iCNG AMT. Let us tell you that due to twin cylinder, boot space increases in CNG cars.

Tiago iCNG and Tigor iCNG will have advanced safety features

Tata Motors’ upcoming automatic CNG car will also be provided with a micro switch for safety, which switches off the car while filling CNG. Along with this, extra thermal protection will also be available in the CNG cylinder compartment. To prevent leaking of CNG gas, advanced material has been used in the iCNG kit. Also, if CNG leaks in the car, the car will automatically switch to petrol mode.

Engine and specifications of Tiago iCNG and Tigor iCNG

Tiago and Tigor iCNG AMT cars have 1.2 liter Revotron engine. Apart from this, Tata Motors has also introduced new color options for these models. Both iCNG cars get a mileage of 26 kilometers per kg. Tigor outs Tiago has been given safety ratings of 5 stars and 4 stars respectively in GNCAP crash test. According to the company, in the financial year 2024, a growth of 40.5 percent has been seen in the CNG market as compared to the previous financial year.
