2025 BYD Atto 3 and Seal Launched:

China’s car manufacturer Build Your Dream (BYD) has updated its vehicle portfolio in the Indian market for 2025. The company has launched two electric cars, the BYD Atto 3 and BYD Seal, with new updates. Both vehicles have received significant changes, making them better than their previous models. Along with the launch, official bookings have also been opened, with a booking amount of Rs 30,000. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in these two cars.

Special Pricing:

First, it’s important to note that while BYD has updated the Atto 3 with new features, there has been no change in its pricing. The crossover SUV remains priced at Rs 24.99 lakh as before. However, this price will apply only to the first 3,000 customers.

2025 BYD Atto 3:

As for the updates, the 2025 Atto 3 now features ventilated front seats and an all-black (first three-tone) interior. BYD has upgraded the electric SUV’s lead-acid battery to a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery, which is six times lighter than traditional low-voltage batteries and has a lifespan of 15 years. The Atto 3 is available with two battery packs: 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh, offering a driving range of up to 468 km and 521 km, respectively. Additionally, the battery can be fast-charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 50 minutes.

Variants and Pricing of BYD Atto 3:

Variant Price (Ex-showroom)
Dynamic Rs 24.99 lakh
Premium Rs 29.85 lakh
Superior Rs 33.99 lakh

What’s Special About the 2025 BYD Seal:

While BYD has not yet disclosed the pricing for the Seal, it is expected to announce the price next month. This electric sedan has received several feature upgrades. Notably, the Power Sunshade, previously available as an optional accessory, is now included as standard. Other upgrades include a silver-plated dimming canopy, upgraded air conditioning systems with larger compressors and improved air purification, and a better suspension with frequency-selective dampers in the premium variants.

Additionally, the DISUS-C intelligent damping system is available in the performance grade. This system adjusts the suspension in real-time based on road conditions. The infotainment system now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a new sound wave function has been introduced to improve cabin acoustics.

4,400 Cars Sold:

BYD claims that around 4,400 units of these two electric cars have been sold so far, including approximately 1,300 units of the BYD Seal Electric Sedan and 3,100 units of the BYD Atto 3 electric crossover. With the feature upgrades in both models, their demand is expected to rise even further.
