It is known that Motorola is preparing to release the flagship smartphone Moto Edge X. There is information that it will not be released alone: the company will present a “dual flagship”. The differences between smartphones will lie in the processors used.
It is reported that one device will run on the existing Snapdragon 8-series SoC, while the other will run on a new generation platform that has yet to be announced. Thus, one smartphone will receive the Snapdragon 888+, and the second will receive the alleged Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
Unfortunately, the informant did not give other details about the upcoming Snapdragon 888+ device. It is only noted that this model will be cheaper than a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 smartphone.
Recall that the most top-end Moto Edge X is predicted to have a 6.67-inch display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, support for LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1, and a 5000 mAh battery with 68-W fast charging.
