The Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor, which so far remains the only CPU on the market with V-Cache technology, has fallen in price.
In the US, they ask for $330 instead of the recommended $450. As such, it now competes with the newer Ryzen 5 7600X. True, in parallel, the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X costs about the same, which is much faster in almost all tasks. However, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is primarily a gaming CPU. Thanks to the huge amount of cache memory, in many games, before the release of Ryzen 7000 and Intel Raptor Lake, it was the most productive on the market.
By the way, the reduced price had a very positive effect on demand. Recall that over the past week Ryzen 7 5800X3D became a hit in the largest German online store Mindfactory, where it is now available for 365 euros.
As for the new CPUs With V-Cache, AMD promised to show them later. Such Ryzen 7000s are expected to be introduced in early 2023.
