Windows 11 now supports more processor models

Microsoft has updated the system requirements of the Windows 11 operating system. This time the list of supported processors has been expanded – it only includes new models of Intel chips, but no changes have occurred for AMD users.

The biggest “innovation” was the appearance of the 14th generation Intel processors of the classic i-series in the list – 22 models in total:

In addition, Microsoft has officially “recognized” the new Intel Core and Core Ultra models:

With the latest update, Windows 11 now supports 903 Intel processors, 304 AMD chips, and 15 Qualcomm mobile platforms. In addition, Microsoft previously made changes to the instruction set requirements , eliminating support for a number of older CPUs.
