Exynos 2400 processor may be featured in Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, introduced earlier this year, were equipped with the same processor.
The next Galaxy Unpacked event from South Korean consumer electronics company Samsung is rumored to take place in July. During this event, the company may unveil its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. There is also speculation about the introduction of the Galaxy Ring at this event.
According to a report by SamMobile, citing sources, Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for July 10 in Paris, the capital of France. The Olympics are also set to be held in Paris from July 26. Typically, Samsung launches its new Galaxy Z smartphones in the US. However, last year, the event took place in South Korea. The company is reportedly planning to launch three new foldable smartphones, including two book-style Galaxy Z smartphones and one clamshell-style foldable smartphone. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra may feature hardware upgrades and come with a higher price, possibly being available only in select markets.
These foldable smartphones have received certification from China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) website. The listing reveals their charging support, which is similar to that of the company’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to the listing, these smartphones will come with the Samsung EP-TA800 charger, indicating support for 25W wired charging.
Recently, tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve) mentioned in a post on the social media platform X that the Exynos 2400 processor may be featured in the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, introduced earlier this year, were equipped with the same processor. Samsung had opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as the processor for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This processor is the company’s first to use a fan-out wafer-level package (FOWLP). Previous leaks had suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 may come in Light Blue, Light Green, Yellow, and Silver colors. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 could potentially be the first smartphones to feature advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, as indicated by Samsung’s patent application.
