Cisco Meraki announced that next week it will disconnect all its routers for customers from Russia from cloud services.
From December 21, users of Cisco Meraki network devices (cloud access points, routers) from Russia and Belarus will not be able to see their devices in their personal account. They will be geo-locked and will no longer receive software updates.
The company said that it is acting in accordance with the requirements of the US authorities, which have imposed appropriate sanctions against Russia, and also doing so together with its parent company Cisco, which bought Meraki exactly 10 years ago.
At the end of June, Cisco decided to completely withdraw from Russia and Belarus. Earlier, in March, the company suspended sales and service of equipment in Russia.
