Vivo S19 Series: These phones were recently spotted on China’s MIIT certification platform, indicating that the launch is imminent.
Smartphone brand Vivo is gearing up to introduce a new phone series in China, likely to be the S19 and S19 Pro in the S series. These phones were recently spotted on China’s MIIT certification platform, suggesting that the launch is very close. Renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed some key specifications of both phones. It is reported that the Vivo S19 Pro will come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ chipset and up to 16 GB of RAM.
According to the leak, the Vivo S19 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 512GB storage paired with 16 GB of RAM. The S19 Pro is expected to excel in camera specifications with a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor, a telephoto lens with the same megapixel count, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
A 50 MP selfie camera is anticipated to be housed in the front of the Vivo S19 Pro, and the phone may boast a 5500 mAh battery with 80 Watt fast charging support.
Details about the Vivo S19 are still unclear, but it is speculated to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and a 6000 mAh battery with 80 Watt charging support. Interestingly, Vivo’s S series smartphones are less prevalent in the global market, and the S series is not offered in India. It is likely that these models will not be available in the country. Typically, the company introduces something new in the S series every 6 months, with the S18 smartphones being launched in December. This suggests that new Vivo phones could be launched in China in June.
