How will be the design?
Roof rails, squarish wheel arches, pull-type door handles at the front and C-pillar integrated rear door handles can be seen in this new model. Its rear profile is similar to the Bigster concept SUV. It gets twin pod-style spoiler and boomerang shaped taillamps. The company will build this new generation SUV on its new CMF-B modular platform. This model will be bigger than the earlier Duster.
How will the powertrain be?
The option of plug-in hybrid and electric powertrain can be seen in the new Renault Duster. Apart from the new-gen Duster, Renault India will also enter the entry-level electric vehicle segment in the coming years. However, the company has not yet given any information about its new EV. In the Chinese market, the company sells its Kwid in the electric version. In which a 26.8kWh battery pack is available, the G is capable of giving a range of up to 271km in a single charge. The Kwid EV gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four spoke steering wheel, an EV-specific instrument cluster, tire pressure monitor, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start aid and many more.
