As per the BS-VI Phase II norms, companies are updating only those vehicles which will be sold in the future. From April 1, 2023, the second phase of BS-VI will be implemented in the country. In this, RDE i.e. real time emission can be checked in all vehicles. The RDE device will continuously monitor parts such as the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, ensuring that the car is meeting the emission norms.
