Maimang 20 smartphone has reportedly been launched in China. Let the Maimang brand first HUAWEI which the tech giant sold to China Telecom last year. The Maimang 20 smartphone gets a 6.78-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. In this, the big camera rings have been given in the back, as is seen in many smartphones coming nowadays. The primary sensor of 64MP has been given in the camera module. The phone is reportedly powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC.
Gizmochina’s AccordingMaimang 20 has been launched in China at a starting price of CNY 1,799 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the phone, which costs CNY 1,999. It will be sold in Silver, Black or Green color options.
Talking about the specifications, the report suggests that the Maimang 20 will feature a 6.78-inch LCD (2388×1080 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It has a hole-punch cutout in the top center, in which the selfie camera is fitted. The smartphone runs on the company’s custom skin based on Android 12 and is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
Coming to the cameras, the smartphone sports a dual large round camera ring that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter housed in the hole-punch cutout.
The smartphone is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery, which reportedly supports 40W fast charging.
