The demand for e-scooters is increasing rapidly among the customers. The latest example of the popularity of electric scooters can be seen from the sales of Ather Energy in the month of October. The Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup has registered tremendous year on year growth (YoY) last month.

Ather Energy Recently, the company has revealed its October sales figures, in which it has been revealed by the company that in October alone, the company has sold more than 8 thousand electric scooters. The company said that for October 2022, it has sold 8,213 units. In this way the company has registered year on year growth of 122% as compared to the same period last year. The company has also benefited a lot from the festive season. Ravneet S Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Eth Energy gave this information in a tweet. On the day of Diwali alone, the company had sold 250 Ather electric scooters in Bengaluru.The company says that in October 2022, it has set the record for the highest sales in any month so far. This is the first time that the company has sold more than 8,000 electric scooters in a month. At the same time, talking about its Month on Month (MoM) sales, it has increased by 10.5%. Compared to September, the company had sold 7,435 units last month. The credit for the increased sales also goes to the consistent efforts of the company.
At present, Ather Energy is present in more than 50 cities in India and has more than 60 experience centers in the country. It has also opened 8 new experience centers in the last month itself. These have been launched in Puducherry, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Vellore, Ludhiana and Madurai. Apart from this, in September itself, the company had set a new milestone of installing more than 500 fast charging grids in India. The company says that for the past few months, it was struggling with supply chain constraints, but now its focus is to make e-scooters available, according to the increasing demand.
