What was the matter?
On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in a flat in his Bandra. His death had created a sensation across the country and the investigation of the case reached from Mumbai Police to CBI. In the post -mortem at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, the cause of death was described as an asphixia (aspiration). Sushant’s father K.K. Singh lodged an FIR in Patna, in which actress Riya Chakraborty and others were accused of abetment, financial fraud and mental harassment. In response, Riya Chakraborty filed a counter complaint in Mumbai, in which Sushant’s sisters were accused of taking fake medical prescriptions.
Family response
Last month, before the Bombay High Court hearing on the PIL (PIL) related to the death of his son Sushant Singh Rajput, KK Singh had hoped for justice from the new government in Maharashtra. KK Singh has been saying for a long time that Sushant cannot die of suicide, expressing disappointment over the CBI investigation and said that the investigating agency did not do its work on time.
