After the first previous fuselage of LCA Mark 1A was handed over to HAL by private company Alpha Tokol Engineering Services Private Limited, HAL will soon be assigned more such fusions to HAL. The role of the private sector in the LCA Tejas program is increasing, in which the fuselage is being outsourced.
In the presence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the first rear fuselage was handed over to HAL. On this occasion, the Defense Minister said that it is a moment of pride and happiness for all of us that we have first gathered in the handover program of LCA Mark 1A Rear Fusez.

A special committee has recommended the additional contribution of private sector to the LCA program last week. HAL has ordered several private companies, including Larsen & Tobro (L&T), Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), Vem Technologies, Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) and Alpha Tokol Engineering Services.
America is delayed
This step will greatly speed up the delivery deadline of Tejas. The Tejas program will move rapidly with the timely availability of fuselage. The delivery of LCA MK1 A from three production lines of HAL will start in a planned manner. The supply of Tejas MK-1A has been delayed due to lack of engines from the US. Negotiations between India and the US are still going on to speed up the delivery of the engine.
25-26 delivery will be stable
The Ministry of Defense is confident that the supply of Tejas from 2025-26 will be according to the original plan. With the production lines being stable, 16-24 Tejas will be produced every year from 2025-26. The supply line of American associate GE engine will also be stable.

To increase the production of Tejas MK1A, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has set up a new production line in Nashik, which will be able to produce 8 aircraft every year. Apart from this, HAL has partnered with many private companies to speed up the production of Tejas.
What is fuselage?
This is the main structure of the aircraft, in which pilots, passengers and goods are kept. It is connected to the engine and tail of the aircraft. Many private companies have ordered for delivery of fuselage.
Apache frame
The US has obtained an Apache frame from India, which is a proof of recognizing Indian technology and capabilities. Fuselage for the world’s most deadly attack helicopter Apache is also being prepared in India. In January 2023, Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Boeing joint venture Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited handed over the first Apache fuselage to the army.
This facility is in Hyderabad. Fuselage made in India was sent to Boeing facility in Arizona, USA, where modern technology and arms systems around the world are equipped with and handing over to the army. This facility has delivered more than 300 fusions so far.
