Police arrested two sharpshooters after an encounter with the Kala Jatheri gang in Chhawla area of Delhi. A police officer said that intelligence was received about the activities of Amit Dagar, brother of jailed gangster Omprakash alias Kala and his associate Ankit. After this, a team of police reached the spot late Saturday night.
The police team took both notorious miscreants home from all around. Seeing this, the miscreants started firing police. The police also retaliated on them, in which both the accused were shot in the leg. After this, the police took him into custody. He was taken to the hospital for primary treatment. Both miscreants are being questioned in custody.
Police said that the accused are a key member of the Kala Jatheri gang. He informed that further investigation is going on to find other gang members and their works. Five days ago, Delhi Police arrested three shooters of Kala Jatheri gang. All three were involved in two recent firing incidents in Dwarka area.
Police had said that the accused were identified as Mohit alias Shooter, Manish alias Hathi and Praveen alias Tona. All of them were working in jail at the behest of gangster Om Prakash alias Kala. On March 16, the three miscreants fired at a businessman’s house in Vinoba Enclave in Najafgarh. Incidentally, the businessman was not at his house at that time.
After this, on the basis of intelligence information, the police came to know that Mohit and Manish Baba are going to come to Haridas Nagar area. When the police team tried to stop him near Mahesh Garden, both of them tried to escape and fired on the police. In retaliation, the police shot and caught both of them in the leg.
Let us tell you that in March last year, notorious gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jatheri and Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary got married. For this marriage, a Delhi court gave a 6 -hour custody parole to the gangster. He was also given 6 hours parole for home entry on 14 March. But later the court canceled him.
On March 12, every work of this wedding, which was held at Santosh Garden in Delhi, was done according to the time received from the court.
