He said, ‘I felt that cricket would always remain my true friend. I supported myself and when my hard work paid off it was even more … as much as I thought.
Hardik said, ‘In this six months time, we won the World Cup and I was overwhelmed by the love and support I got when I returned home. For me the wheel of time had completely rotated 360 degrees.
He said, ‘I did not know at all when this would happen, but as it is said, luck had its own plan and in my case, everything changed within two and a half months.’
Pandya recently played an important role with a new ball with Mohammed Shami in the absence of Jaspreet Bumrah in the victory campaign of India’s Champions Trophy. He was also part of India’s T20 World Cup winning team in the US last year.
The Mumbai Indians team finished final in the last season of the IPL, but Hardik believes that his team is very balanced this time and will be able to change things.
He said, ‘I have been playing IPL for almost 11 years, each season creates a new energy and positive feeling in you. The previous season was definitely a challenge for us as a team, but it gave us a very good learning.
Hardik said, ‘We analyzed these learns and implemented them while preparing our team for 2025. This time we have a very experienced team. We have players who have played cricket at the top level and it is enthusiastic.
