Aurangzeb Controversy – Congress leader compared Parashuram to Aurangzeb, the party said – apologize – Madhya Pradesh Congress Leader Rekha Vinod Jain Aurangzeb Remark Sush Raje Ntc

The Congress has sent a show notice to a women party leader of Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh on social media for comparing Hindu deity Parashuram to Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. In the notice, the party has sought a reply from Rekha Vinod Jain within 48 hours.

The notice issued by Jabalpur City Congress President Saurabh Sharma said, “You have violated not only the Indian Constitution but also the Constitution of the Congress Party, which has tarnished the secular image of the party.” He said that Jain’s act has violated the secular policy of the Congress party and it comes under the purview of indiscipline.

‘Forgiveness within 48 hours …’

Saurabh Sharma said, “Based on the act you do, you are issued a show cause notice and within 48 hours of getting it, you should publicly apologize for your act regarding the post and send your reply.”

The notice further warned that if he did not apologize or sent a satisfactory reply, disciplinary action will be taken against him.

What did the Congress leader say in the post?

Congress leader Rekha Vinod Jain had said in the post, “Aurangzeb cut off his brother’s head and presented it to his father, while Parashurama cut his mother’s head. Aurangzeb was cruel, no one considers him ideal. Muslims also do not name their children Aurangzeb but also make a temple of Parashurama, the followers of Hindutva.”

However, Rekha later removed the post and apologized for her act, saying that she had no intention of hurting the sentiments of any community.

Rekha Vinod said in a separate post, “As soon as this came to my notice, I immediately removed that post from the wall. Along with this, I apologize to everyone for hurting your feelings.”

However, the ruling BJP tried to surround the Congress and said that insulting the Hindu deities of the opposition party has become a habit.
