A week has passed since the murder of journalist Raghavendra Bajpayee in Sitapur, but the police have not been able to reach any concrete result in this case so far. Questions have been raised on the direction of repeatedly changing investigation by the police. Earlier, the theory of food scam, land-trading and illicit relations with women was brought, now this case is being tried to turn in the direction of controversy with the spiritual guru and the relationship with his disciples.
This new theory of the police has been rejected by Rashmi Bajpai, wife of the deceased himself. He came in front of the media and expressed disagreement over the stories being made by the police and said that he has nothing to do with the truth.
What is the whole matter
On March 8, journalist Raghavendra Bajpayee was shot dead by the attackers in broad daylight on the Hempur Crossing flyover on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway. In this case, the FIR lodged by the wife of the deceased alleged that the news published in the newspaper was the main reason for the murder. The incident took place in broad daylight on the highway, so there is tremendous pressure on the police.
In view of the seriousness of the case, the police detained about 25 people, including several accountants, retired soldiers, some criminals and questioned more than 50 people. The surveillance team searched thousands of phone calls and investigated CCTV footage, but no concrete result was revealed.
Questions arising on the new theory of police
In the last two days, Sitapur police called some journalists and presented a new investigation theory. He issued a written press note or byte without issuing that the murder case could be related to the alleged relationship of the deceased journalist with a so -called spiritual teacher and his disciple. After this theory surfaced, it started sharp opposition on social media.

Apart from this, Lakhimpur has no connection.
