Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 Global Launch Set for February 26 Ahead of MWC 2026

Huawei will launch its FreeBuds Pro 5 TWS earbuds globally on February 26 in Madrid, just before MWC 2026. The earbuds feature dual drivers, improved ANC, and IP67 rating.

Huawei has announced the international launch of its Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. The event will take place on February 26 in Madrid, just a few days before the start of Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC) in Barcelona.

As a reminder, the model was first released in China last November. The FreeBuds Pro 5 feature an upgraded audio system with two speakers in each earbud. They support multiple audio codecs, including AAC, SBC, LDAC, and L2HC.

The company has placed special focus on active noise cancellation (ANC). According to Huawei, the ANC performance has become “significantly more effective” compared to the previous generation. The proprietary Kirin A3 chip handles sound processing.

The earbuds come with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. With noise cancellation enabled, they offer up to 5 hours of playback on a single charge. With the charging case, the total battery life extends up to 33 hours.
