Galaxy S26 Prototype Listed on Craigslist for $1,650 Ahead of Official Launch

A supposed Samsung Galaxy S26 prototype has appeared on Craigslist for $1,650. Leaked photos raise questions about whether it’s the S26 Ultra or S26 Plus ahead of the February 25 launch event.

A smartphone described as a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has been listed on Craigslist for $1,650. However, several details have raised questions about the authenticity of the listing.

Photos of the device were shared by insider Kakooli98. The images show what appears to be a fully functional phone. However, there is a noticeable discrepancy: the camera module is designed as a single, elongated unit. According to rumors, this design is expected to appear on the Plus variant rather than the Ultra model.

Additionally, the asking price is significantly higher than the expected retail price of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus, which is rumored to start between $1,000 and $1,100 depending on storage configuration. The device shown in the photos appears in black.

If the listing truly features a prototype device, it could become a valuable item for collectors. However, there is no guarantee that the smartphone would not be remotely blocked or deactivated in the future.

The official presentation of the Galaxy S26 series, along with other products, is scheduled for February 25.
