Yulu Wynn: Yulu electric scooter launched at Rs 59,999, book for Rs 999

Electric mobility start-up Yulu has announced its new electric two-wheeler Wynn. The new budget-friendly electric scooter has been launched for less than Rs 60,000. Discounts are also being given to early customers. The electric scooter comes with a swappable battery pack, which can be changed within minutes. The Yulu Wynn comes with a connectivity mobile app. Apart from this, it also supports advanced features like OTA updates, remote vehicle access. This electric scooter can be driven by people of 16 years or above without a driving license.

Yulu Wynn has been launched at a starting price of Rs 55,555. However, this is an introductory price, after which it will cost Rs 59,999. Get it for Rs 999 pre-book which is fully refundable. The company says that deliveries of the electric scooter will begin from mid-May. Yulu Wynn will be available first in Bengaluru by the end of the year, after which it will be made available in other cities. The electric two-wheeler is available in two colors – Scarlet Red and Moonlight White.

Yulu Wynn offers many features including keyless access and instant family sharing. The company says that through Yulu’s mobility subscription packs, its upfront cost of ownership will be reduced by up to 40 percent. You don’t even need a driving license to ride an electric scooter.

The Yulu Wynn will come with a swappable battery pack. Yuma Energy Networks – a joint venture between Yulu and Magna – will install swapping stations across the country. At the same time, the battery can also be charged at home using a portable charger.

Yulu Wynn can be connected to the company’s mobile app. The EV comes equipped with a host of connectivity features including OTA updates, remote vehicle access. As we said, it can be driven by anyone above the age of 16 without a driving license.

The company is also coming up with exclusive mobility subscription packages, which can be chosen as per the requirements of the customer. This will allow customers to choose the Battery-as-a-Service option using Yuma Energy’s 100+ touchpoints. The company claims that the number of these touchpoints will reach 500 by December.
