Yulu launches new generation electric scooter, 25 km / h speed, equipped with AI technology

Electric mobility startup Yulu (Yulu) and Bajaj Auto have launched new generation electric scooters Miracle GR (Miracle GR) and DeX GR (DEX GR) in the country. These electric scooters have been designed by Bajaj Auto keeping in mind the Indian road conditions and weather.

The company claims that these new electric vehicles offer greater range and performance, which will lead to increased profits for the users. Bajaj, which already has a stake in Yulu, also sells the Chetak electric scooter in the market.

Bajaj Auto has helped Yulu to locally manufacture components for the second generation of the Yulu e-scooter. According to the company, these new third generation e-scooters are full proof, fall proof and will offer OTA support.

Yulu said the new electric scooters are trackable and easy to use for both personal and commercial use. The company is preparing to launch about 1 lakh electric two-wheelers by October 2023.

Both the Miracle GR and DX GR come with Smart Dockless EV technology. The Miracle GR offers a top speed of 25 kmph, while the DX GR also gets a luggage carrier that can hold up to 15 kgs.

These scooters also have a head and tail light. Yulu has partnered with Yuma Energy, a swappable battery service provider for e-vehicle batteries, which has around 100 stations across Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. The company plans to increase these stations to 500 by 2024.

Yulu’s e-vehicles are very easy to use. Commuters can use the Yulu app to access and use Yulu e-bikes. Neither a driving license nor a helmet is required to drive them.
