ChatGPT is an AI conversational chatbot, which was made available for free public testing on 30 November. The chatbot answers the questions asked by you as if you had asked that question to a human and this tool learns and improves itself based on the chat. It can write essays for you, do your homework and even compose an entire e-mail for you. This is the reason why it has started being used in many ways. A survey report revealed that 30 percent of the total men surveyed are going to use ChatGPT AI tool to write love letters on the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
In McAfee’s new ‘Modern Love’ research exposure A survey conducted by the firm revealed that 30 percent of men (and 26 percent of all adults) would use artificial intelligence to write love letters this Valentine’s Day. This research includes 5,000 people from 9 countries including India. The aim of the research was to find out how AI and the internet are changing love and relationships.
The report states that 49 per cent people say that they would be angry if they came to know that the love letter they received was written by artificial intelligence based tools like ChatGPT. Of those who decided to use the tool to write love letters, 27 percent said it would make them (the love letter sender) feel more confident (27%), while 21 percent said it would save them time. and 21 percent cited a lack of motivation, while 10 percent said it would simply be faster and easier and they didn’t think the recipient of the letter would know.
The report went on to add another interesting finding that two-thirds of all adults surveyed (69 percent) could not tell the difference between a love letter written by an AI and a love letter written by a human. In fact, a surprising 65 percent of them preferred the machine-generated letter.
The report also raised concerns about online dating scams or cat fishing through these tools, as according to the survey, 66 percent of adults have interacted with a stranger after being approached, including through Facebook Messenger ( 39 percent) and Instagram (33 percent) are the most popular platforms, while 51 percent admit they have been catfished.
Explain that the developers of ChatGPT, OpenAI, say that their ChatGPT model has been developed using a machine learning technique called Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). It can simulate the question being asked and is also capable of answering continuous questions. The company says it can admit mistakes, challenge incorrect questions and reject unreasonable requests.
Tools like ChatGPT can be used for real-world work such as digital marketing, creating online content, answering customer service queries or as some users have found, it can even help users with complex tasks such as debugging code. By mimicking the conversational style of a human, the bot can answer a variety of questions and help ease a variety of tasks for users.
