Video cards Radeon RX 7900 went on sale. The start of sales took place at 17:00 Moscow time. Analysis a few hours before launch pointed out that there are cards in stores and at normal prices.
Now, a few hours have passed and it seems that AMD really did not deceive and provided sellers with sufficient stocks of new products. Some models are sold out, but in general, adapters are on sale both in the US and in Europe at the same recommended prices or slightly higher in the case of some non-reference versions.
That is, in the US, you can buy a Radeon RX 7900 XT for $900 and an RX 7900 XTX for $1,000, but that’s not including taxes. In Europe, the recommended prices are respectively 1050 and 1150 euros. The real prices for the junior card start at about 1130 euros, and for the older one they ask for 1200 euros.
Of course, this is only the first day. The same RTX 4090 was also allegedly available everywhere and at normal prices in the first hours, but most of the stock was quickly sold out. What the situation with AMD’s new products will be in the future will become clear in the coming days or weeks.
