India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has announced the launch of Yamaha Aerox 155 (Yamaha Aerox 155) with Traction Control System (TCS) under its Call of the Blue brand campaign. This maxi-sports scooter is the first scooter in India to feature TCS in its segment. Apart from this, IYM has also announced the launch of 2023 variants of its premium range of two-wheelers. Which includes MT-15 V2, R15 V4 and R15S, which come with category-leading features and new color schemes.

The new 2023 Yamaha AEROX 155 equipped with Traction Control System (TCS) will help to further enhance the performance of the scooter by reducing wheelspin and providing better control in any riding condition. With this, the latest version of the Aerox 155 is E20 fuel compliant and also equipped with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) system. It is powered by a new generation 155cc Blue Core engine which is equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve motor, mated to a CVT transmission, generates a maximum power output of 15 PS at 8,000rpm and peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500rpm. In addition to this, the Aerox 155 now gets the hazard system as standard and a new silver colour.

To provide more options to the MT-15 V2 customers, India Yamaha Motor has introduced the new 2023 variant in two new colors – Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black. With the launch of this variant, customers will have the option to choose between a Bluetooth (Wi-Connect) equipped variant and a non-Wi-Connect equipped variant. This variant comes with features like dual channel ABS for added safety, TCS for enhanced performance and OBD2 for instant access to important machine data.
Both the R15 V4 and R15S variants now get some new upgrades for the 2023 version. The R15 V4 will now get the quick shifter in the new Intensity White color along with the existing Racing Blue colour. The R15S, on the other hand, gets the same 155cc engine as the R15 V4 and a racing-inspired LCD display.
The R15 V4, R15S and MT-15 V2 are equipped with Yamaha’s performance-oriented liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 155cc, OBD2 compliant fuel-injected engine, coupled to Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system Is. A slick shifting 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch for lighter and more precise gear actuation produces 18.4PS of peak power at 10,000rpm, peak torque output of 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm.
