Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Li Jun has given information about introducing Xiaomi’s EV technology. He has shared a post on microblogging platform Jun made it clear in his post that no product (ie electric car) will be introduced, only EV technology will be launched.

Xiaomi SU7 in competition with Tesla
SU7 can be launched in the market to compete with Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model 3. With features like 3,000mm wheelbase, 19 and 20 inch wheels, this car will enter the EV market strongly. 220kW motor can be used in the base model and 495kW motor can be used in the AWD variant, which are capable of giving tremendous range.
Xiaomi SU7: When will it be launched?
At present, Xiaomi has not officially disclosed details like battery, range, features. The long range model of the main competitor of the upcoming electric car, Tesla Model 3, can cover a distance of about 535 kilometers in a full charge. Its price in America is around Rs 30 lakh. On the other hand, we will have to wait for the price of Xiaomi’s SU7. This car can be launched in 2024.
