Xiaomi Receives 50K Orders For Its Electric Car In 27 Minutes After Release, Three Versions Sold
Chinese company Xiaomi, known for its electronics, has ventured into electric vehicle production. Just 27 minutes after the sales launch on March 28, Xiaomi received 50 thousand pre-orders.
The SU7, available in three versions, saw an overwhelming response in China. The basic version of SU7 is priced at 215.9 thousand yuan, or approximately 2.8 million rubles based on the Bank of Russia’s exchange rate on March 28. The SU7 Pro costs 245.9 thousand yuan, or 3.2 million rubles, while the SU7 Max is priced at 299.9 thousand yuan, or 3.9 million rubles.
The electric car comes in three standard colors: blue, gray, and green. Additional color options will incur extra charges.
