The Chinese resource ITHome drew attention to the fact that on May 8, Xiaomi updated the list of its mobile devices for which software support has been terminated. It added Xiaomi Play, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Zoom.
The inclusion of smartphones in the list of devices that have reached the “life stage” End of Support (EOS) means that they will never be updated again: and this is not about Android updates at all (they are no longer released for these models), but about the release of updates android security.
