During a livestream, he stated that Xiaomi will consider selling its cars in global markets starting in 2027. He also mentioned that, for now, the company will focus on fulfilling domestic demand due to the overwhelming number of orders for the SU7 and YU7 models.

The YU7 electric car was recently launched in China and received an incredible response. Within just three minutes, the car received 200,000 bookings, and within the first hour, around 300,000 bookings were recorded. The booking amount was set at CNY 20,000 (approximately ₹2.4 lakh).
