Xiaomi has expanded the “black list” of outdated smartphones

The company has released an updated list of Xiaomi EOS – a list of branded gadgets that will no longer receive software updates. Such models lose not only new versions of Android, but also regular security patches, and their owners are advised to change their gadget to a more modern one.


The updated list was recently replenished with Xiaomi Mi9 SE and Mi Play smartphones. Like other “cancelled” devices, they will not be officially updated, unless critical vulnerabilities are discovered. The full current list of company devices today includes the following models:
