The OnePlus brand may not be as popular in Russia, but in some countries it is a resounding success. Especially in India, which is the second largest smartphone market after China.
MySmartPrice conducted a study which showed that in India, OnePlus had no competitors in the mid-range and premium segments of smartphones. In the $380 to $635 price range, OnePlus holds over 28% of the market. The next two positions belong to Samsung and Vivo, respectively. Oppo and Xiaomi also made it to the top five.
In terms of individual models, the OnePlus 10R is the absolute leader in the sub-$508 price range. From April to June 2022, the OnePlus 10R was the most popular smartphone in the $380 to $510 category. The closest competitors were Vivo V23 Pro 5G and Realme GT Neo 3 5G.
Not only does OnePlus lead the mentioned price range, but it also does quite well in the $510 to $635 and over $635 categories. In the first category, the OnePlus 9RT is the third most popular, behind only the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Realme GT 2 Pro 5G.
In the premium segment, OnePlus 10 Pro is the second most popular smartphone. Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro is in the lead here.
