On April 25, Xiaomi began closed testing of the new Android 14 operating system on its devices. The first models were Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 6/6 Pro and other devices.
Xiaomi is expected to be the first OEM to open Android 14 beta testing to mainstream users after the Google I/O conference opens on May 10. The final version of Android 14 is scheduled to be launched in August this year.
Android 14 promises improved performance, improved battery life, new privacy and security management features, a new notification system, and improved dual-screen compatibility.
