Samsung has said that UFS 4.0 will be used in flagship smartphones, enabling faster data transfer rates for high-resolution imaging and heavy gaming. In the future, UFS 4.0 will be used in more mobile, virtual and augmented reality devices.
Samsung will introduce Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Filp 4 foldable smartphones on August 10th. However, the description of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system does not mention support for UFS 4.0.
