This morning, the head of the company, Lei Jun, presented the results of testing the battery life of the new Xiaomi 13 smartphone. The tests were conducted by Geek Bay.
The battery capacity of Xiaomi 13 was 4500 mAh, it supports 67-watt charging and charges in 38 minutes. It also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Lei Jun called the Xiaomi 13 a “magic smartphone” in terms of battery life, and also confirmed that it lasted longer than the iPhone 14 Pro Max in tests. Geek Bay results are broadly in line with Xiaomi’s official results.
According to Xiaomi measurements, the Xiaomi 13 smartphone lasts 1.37 days without recharging, which exceeds the result of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which is 1.28 days.
Recall that Xiaomi 13 is built on the basis of the new energy-efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system, and also received new LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory.
