Resource Gizmochina has published an exclusive new image of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone, which is placed in a branded protective case that does not interfere with its design.
This image showcases the same main camera design as seen in the recent leaks. The image also confirms that the main camera should have four lenses, including a periscope module, as well as two additional sensors and an LED flash.
You can clearly see that the device has a curved screen on the sides, and the hole for the front camera is located in the center top of the display. This dispels rumors that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will receive a sub-screen camera. It will most likely be in store for the Xiaomi Mix 5, rumors about which are actively spreading.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.6-inch 2K display with support for high refresh rates. The main camera will be equipped with a Samsung GN5 50MP image sensor, a 2x telephoto lens with a 48MP 48MP sensor, another 48MP module with 5x zoom capability and, finally, a 48MP sensor with 10- multiple magnification.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and is expected to receive an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The phone may come with support for 120W fast charging.
The device is expected to debut in mid-February.
