World’s Fastest Electric Scooter Unveiled by Bo – Hits 160 km/h, Costs $29,500

Electric Scooter Turbo – The World’s Fastest Electric Scooter Unveiled — Costs as Much as a Car

British startup Bo has introduced a one-of-a-kind electric scooter called the Turbo, capable of reaching speeds up to 160 km/h — faster than most urban motorcycles. Developed by a team of former Formula 1 engineers, this high-speed machine isn’t designed for city commuting. Instead, it’s positioned as a technological showcase and collector’s item.

The Turbo is powered by dual electric motors delivering a combined 24,000 watts, paired with an 1800 Wh battery. Bo claims a range of up to 240 kilometers, although achieving its top speed is only possible under ideal conditions on a closed track. To maintain stability at such high speeds, the scooter features an advanced stabilization system and reinforced braking components. According to its developers, the Turbo even outperforms the Bugatti Veyron in power-to-weight ratio.

Bo plans to produce the Turbo in limited quantities, available only through custom orders. The estimated price? $29,500 — roughly equivalent to a used Tesla Model 3. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026, aligning with the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Madrid. The company acknowledges that the Turbo exists in a legal gray area, and it’s unlikely to be approved for use on public roads.

For those looking for a more practical alternative, Bo will also launch a road-legal model, the Model-M, expected to debut in August 2025. This version will be lighter, quieter, and more affordable, designed for everyday commuting.
