In view of the increasing use of audio based platforms, Amazon has launched the Amp app. The special thing is that all the functions and facilities will be available on the app for free and users will not have to subscribe to any kind of service.
The Amp app, launched by Amazon, is currently in beta phase as Amazon’s team is testing its features. Earlier this app has been launched in America. It is expected that soon it will be launched in other countries of the world including India.
Features like clubhouse
In Amazon’s app app, users will get features like clubhouse and the option to host live radio shows will also be given. Hosts will also be able to sing songs to their listeners in a live radio show. Music company Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and other independent music companies will be able to play songs on the show. They will not even have to pay money for this.

The special thing is that users will not have to pay any money for all this. Amazon says that the process of signing up for this app has also been kept simple.
Partnership with Pop Stars
Amazon has partnered with pop-star Nicki Minaj to popularize this app. Nicki Minaj will bring her own radio show on the amp called ‘Queen Radio’. Apart from this, Amazon has also made Tinashi, electronic artist and violinist Lindsay Stirling, Travis Barker, Lil Yachty and Big Boy a part of the amp.
AMP App is currently in beta mode
John Ciancti says that the amp is still in the works. The company just decided to launch it in beta because we believe that it is important for creators to connect with them for them to work. “We want them to use the app and tell them what features they need,” he said.
