Wipro, Infosys and Tech Mahindra rejected after giving offer letters to freshers, many hiring canceled

 

Wipro, Infosys and take IT companies, including Mahindra, have reportedly canceled the offer letters of several candidates after months of delays in the onboarding process. According to reports, hundreds of freshers who have received offers from tech giants have seen their offer letters getting canceled after a delay of around 3-4 months in the onboarding process.

A report shows that IT firms such as Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra have canceled offer letters given to students after delaying the onboarding process for months. Students claim that they applied for jobs in top tech companies about 3-4 months back. After the interview, they received the offer letters and were waiting for their onboarding process. However, the onboarding process was delayed for months by IT firms.

Why did technology companies cancel the offer letter?

Now the students have got a letter saying that their employment letter is being cancelled. Students have further informed that technology companies have canceled their offer letter based on eligibility criteria and company guidelines.

Reports of delays by IT firms in onboarding or withdrawing their offer letters come at a time when there is talk of a slowdown in the IT industry across the globe. The talk of the town is that as the money supply tightens – interest rates are rising around the world, the easy money supply available to startups in the IT world is no longer available. Due to which it is affecting all the IT companies.

Many companies have stopped hiring due to unfavorable business conditions. Even giants like Google, Facebook and Microsoft have put a hold on new hiring and ordered teams to make better use of available resources.

As far as Indian IT companies are concerned, earlier also several reports had revealed that IT companies were delaying the onboarding process of new recruits by 3-4 months. Several freshers had also posted about the delay in the process on social media platforms like LinkedIn.
