On the YouTube channel GECID.com, we checked what performance an assembly based on Intel Core i5-2500K can provide in games. The system ran at 1080p in 20 games. These projects include Dota 2, War Thunder, World of Tanks, ARK: Survival Evolved, Warframe, Escape From Tarkov, Fortnite (Chapter 2), PUBG, Apex Legends, Halo Infinite (MP), Battlefield 2042, StarCraft II, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Resident Evil 8: Village, Cyberpunk 2077, Deathloop, Far Cry 6, Forza Horizon 5.
The best performance results were achieved when overclocked in World of Tanks (149 fps on average and 68 fps in very rare events), Apex Legends (138 fps on average and 64 fps in very rare events on Custom settings), Dota 2 (129 fps on average and 61 fps in very rare events). Also, the average frame rate of 100 fps was saved in War Thunder (112 fps), Apex Legends (116 fps at maximum settings), Resident Evil 8: Village (112 fps).
