Will the following Intel processors support older RAM modules?

An insider who previously released sensitive confidential information to Intel has confirmed that upcoming Raptor Lake processors will support DDR4 memory. This means that the successor to Alder Lake will more than likely be compatible with all existing Z690 motherboards and upcoming H670 / B660 / H610 motherboards with DDR4 memory support.

According to preliminary data, Raptor Lake will differ from Alder Lake in the number of cores. It is confirmed that the 13th Gen Intel Core Raptor Lake-S will offer up to 24 cores (8 performance + 16 energy efficient) with 125W, 65W and 35W TDPs for desktop systems. These processors are due out at the end of 2022.
